Hello!

I’m trying to apply a conditional formatting rule (?) that will show Direct Reports numbers - but have this split into “Full Time” vs “Temp” employees.  I have figured out how to do just Direct Reports - but can’t figure out how to split into Full time vs Temp.

Is this possible?? - Thanks in advance

Hi @123Parker

Lucidchart's direct report count bubble has limitations when it comes to distinguishing between different employment types, such as Full Time and Temp.

  • To display separate counts, you'll need to create custom fields in your data source and manually add them to the org chart.
  • Although Lucidchart allows custom employee fields to be added to each manager's shape, this requires external calculation and data import.

Besides, while conditional formatting can visually differentiate employment types, it won't alter the default direct report count, serving only to enhance visual styling without impacting the underlying logic or calculations.

Hope this helps - Happy to help further!!
Thank you very much and have a great one!
Warm regards
